Supporting a child with dyslexia comes with a unique set of challenges, but with the right diagnosis and strategies, parents can help their child thrive academically and emotionally. If you share any of these concerns, International Dyslexia Support is here to help and ensure your child’s success.

Lessons
If you feel that your child could benefit from personalised, face-to-face lessons using multi-sensory techniques, get in contact with us and we will be happy to discuss your needs at an initial consultation (free of charge).

Lessons can be given to both primary and secondary aged children at IDS’s practice in Cascais, or in school (with prior approval).

Online sessions can also be given depending on your circumstances.

Diagnostic Reports
If you would like to have your child assessed, regardless of where they live in Portugal, get in contact to talk about your concerns for your child. You will then be sent questionnaires for both home and school, so that a full picture of your child’s strengths and current needs can be better understood. When the questionnaires have been received a date can be booked for your child’s assessment.

Live elsewhere and would like an online assessment? This is also achievable. Get in contact for more information.

Diagnostic assessments can be carried out for both primary and secondary aged children.
